La Jolla

La Jolla is a beautiful town located approximately 20 minutes from downtown San Diego. The UC San Diego main campus is located in La Jolla. Popular La Jolla locations are La Jolla Shores, Torrey Pines Glider Port and Golf Course, and La Jolla Cove. Downtown La Jolla features many high-priced restaurants overlooking the ocean (George's, Crab Catcher) and some night clubs. La Jolla cove is famous for seal beach (aka. Children's Pool), tide pools, and caves (which can be viewed from the water via Kayak trips from La Jolla Shores).
